Delete your True2You account
You can delete your account here without opening the app or unlocking your phone. Enter the email you signed in with and we will email you a one-time code to confirm.
What deleting your account does
- Ends any pairing. If you are paired, deleting your account ends the pairing for both of you. Your partner is sent a plain, detail-free notice that the pairing has ended — nothing about why, and nothing else.
- Removes your devices. Every device you enrolled is removed and stops being protected.
- Purges your data. Your identity and your consent records are deleted. The one thing we keep is a pseudonymised record that consent once existed (no name, no content) — retained only as legal proof that consent was given. Everything else is purged.
If you are paired, your partner will see a notice that the pairing has ended soon after you delete — delivery is near real time, so plan around that. The notice never says when you left, where you are, or anything about your reasons. Deleting ends the pairing the safe way — it is the same as dissolving. Do not turn protection off on a device to leave quietly: turning it off sends an immediate “protection was turned off” alert. Delete or dissolve instead.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription or issue a refund. Manage a subscription or request a refund through the store you bought it from (Google Play or the App Store), or from the billing section inside the app.
